im also gonna pull out random numbers and information so here is my take: The game works perfect for 99% of the player base.

In the recent patches, several highly questionable elements have been introduced. I'm left pondering why this sudden shift in direction for the game has occurred. Specifically, those ASMR sounds that play when your character starts bleeding evoke a sense of aggression in me every time. I kindly request the addition of an option to disable these sounds, as they are rather distressing. Additionally, the approach of intensifying the zombies threat level by raising the chance of experiencing bleeding strikes me as both nonsensical and lacking innovation. It appears more like an uncalculated endeavor to amplify the menace posed by zombies, rather than a thought out strategy.

Start by getting a fishing Rod and fish , make a fire starter and cook the fish and you will come by the starvation. After that this game is a piece of cake, if you dont stumble into cheaters.

Great update! Had so much fun exploring it yesterday. Zombies being harder made a big difference in how players played actually and it was fun and love the new bags and server browser updates too!

Once again, terrible update all that was added was bags that nobody is going to use for a long period of time.


Vanilla Dayz Still still is missing or has a lot of broken stuff like:

- No Bikes, Helicopters, Boats or Planes in the game.
- Cars still bug out and fly and kill you.
- Bodies still fall into the wall and cannot be looted.
- Guns still bug out and shoot bullets that do no damage.
- Vanilla Base building is still terrible.
- Livonia is still a bad map and not worth the purchase, Modded maps are played way more.
- No auto run key.
- No AI to do missions.

You guys need to actually put something in the game that makes it worth for people to buy and play the game.

Right now modders are doing all the work to actually make the game fun, If it wasn't for Modders and Youtubers/Streamers this game would of still been on the decline.

But hey you made it so the game kicks you if you don't have the right mods for a server and you don't end up waiting in a hour long queue before getting kicked anymore, So i guess thats something good.

I beg that you guys to go back and play a bunch of different versions Arma 2 Dayz, so Vanilla/Epoch/Overpoch/Origins etc and take a bunch of good features from there and add it to DayZ Standalone.

Bags update ! What a revolution

Ran just fine for me. However, rather disappointed that using a sword now feels like I'm using a tiny knife. Zs just run right through the swings and hit you. Next to zero stunning. Most of the time, zero stun from the hits. Not sure there's even a point in using a sword now. Might as well use a hatched or something else since they are faster since stun is effectively gone.

Sooo... more bags? Got it.

Does making a camp still suck? Does basebuilding still suck? Does fortifying buildings still suck? How bout cars?

WIthout decent encampents/bases then what is the point of all this other stuff? Its like they are stringing the players out until the game is no longer even able to be patched up and it falls over directly into its grave.

Axis tried this. The game died a slow and painful death. I am sure it was massive dehydration that did it due to all the hershey squirts.
