HOW TO RUN INTO OTHER PLAYERS?
i have tried many things to find players on many different servers, i have tried vanilla, modded and vanilla+ servers and almost every single time i run around for like 8 hours without seeing anyone and then i randomly get sniped in the head and i have to respawn, at that point i usually just quit the game, it has gotten to the point i have started to wonder if the player count on servers are fake? i see people on youtube run into players constantly and i would like that experience

Most of what you see on u tube is scripted/edited and staged on
a (usually) closed/modded server for "artistic" reasons. They rarely show
"actual" gameplay that a regular player would experience.
If you want THAT game play you will need your own server.
You can then set it up anyway you like.

sure some people probably script stuff but i doubt people like for example summit scripts their stuff, now it is obviously possible that everyone he runs into is a stream sniper but it very often seems authentic
I often play on high pop official or community servers, and I consistently encounter other players in the fresh spawn areas. However, the Community Server Tab in the Official Launcher is cluttered with fake servers and inflated player counts, making it harder to find reliable servers. There are plenty of great, trustworthy community servers like Spaggies, Karma Krew, and many others. Unfortunately, the official launcher can be somewhat unreliable, so finding these quality servers can be a challenge if you don't already know what to look for. One solution is to use the third-party launcher DZSALauncher. And a possible second solution could be to make sure you're not caught in the web of fake servers that constantly redirect you.

That's what makes it "entertaining".
Some of it is pretty good entertainment but
Most of it is not very representative of actual
game play. That being said, there are some pretty
good "how to" videos, that are titled as such.
Elektro, Cherno and Berezino even Svetlojarsk got a lot of players. (And NE AF). Zelenogorsk also got players.
