is it safe to eat the dried fruits on the ground?

I keep finding fruits, some are fresh some are rotten, others are dried.

They’re safe, they just lack the hydration the others have.

Dried are always safe. Rotten you can eat, but you take a chance of getting sick. The higher your overall core stats are (hydration, calories, blood and health) the better chance you have of fighting off an illness brought on by rotten food.
If you have charcoal tablets these can cure the illness too.
