Fishing questions

Literally the worst crafting system I've ever seen in a game, it just has to be said. Nothing is intuitive, literally nothing.

I found a telescopic fishing rod but it's not extended. Nothing I do extends it. I have a worm and a hook. Nothing I do adds the bait to the hook. It's an incredible thing that in nearly 2022 a game exists that has a crafting system this laughably bad.

Not looking for fan boys who can't wait to defend this garbage. Just a quick simple answer to questions I shouldn't even have to ask. Thanks.

hmm im not having issues combining the hook with the bait and then adding it to the rod.
might only work for fanboys, i dunno.

Combine the hook and bait to craft the item you need to attach to the pole.

Hold a hook in hand and drag the worm over to apply. Then it should go on the rod just fine. You don't have to extend it, it'll do so immediately when you try to use it.
