Livonia for a new player
Hi everybody, i got Dayz SA almost 20 days ago and i am really enjoying my time playing it.
My question is: is it worth buying Livonia for somebody like me? or should i just stick with Chernarus and eventually think about getting it later on?

It's easier to stay alive in Chernarus aside from being shot ofcourse.
Livonia is a harsher environment for fresh spawns but is ok once you have your supplies.
The bigger challenge is that it's a new environment at first.

Livonia is not the same as Chernarus. In Chernarus, you can survive by picking up food and fruit along to coast long enough to allow you to move inland. But Livonia is a lot different. Even though it is smaller, it will be harder. There are no fruit trees, so you have to hope you spawn close to city. Then from there, you may find some items to keep you alive, but you will quickly need to beat every zombie in sight as they hold more food. Once you find a knife, you can gut some chickens. Hopefully you find a bag by this time and a pot and a drinking well. kill a few chickens, gut them, then cook them. Stock up on them and fill your pot with CLEAN water. If you have room, get a second pair of shoes if you cant find a leather kit. from there, you can typically move about periodically resupplying.

Livonia is more "grow your food and hunt" based. Plus its easy to get lost for first timers. I would say spend a few months on Chernarus before trying out Livonia. And make sure you know how to craft.

If you look at the actual usable surface area Chernarus seems to be almost the same size.
