How to dry clothes.

Okay so new girl to dayz. How do I dry my stuff out after it's been rained on. Please give me all possibilities.

You have to remove them, empty them, put them in your hands and you will get an option to wring them out. You do that repeatedly but you'll only get to damp.

Best way is to start a fire.

You only need something sharp, like a stone knife, to cut sticks and bark off of trees. Make a firekit with a stick and bark, make a hand drill for starting fires with a stick and bark. Combine more sticks to the stick in the fire kit and light the fire. You can keep combining sticks to the sticks in the kit (do not add to the fire in the upper squares). You'll completely dry off.

To keep from getting wet, you need a jacket that will keep you dry, like a rain coat, a firemen's coat, gorka.

Make a fire are the best way. If you will fire during rain and you stay away from a town or houses, then make fire under a tree.
Best places are on eastside from tree, not to close and not to wide.

I know how to dry my character off and I know how to wring my clothes out but how do I get everything from damp to dry.

If its not raining, run, but don't run through grassy meadows. Or you can build a fire.

I never wring my clothes, absolutly not needed at the moment.
Just sit infront of a fire and your stuff will dry gradually in around less than 2 to 3 mins.

This is pre 0.63 Patch. You dry off very quickly at the moment, and health loss through cold temperature is extremly low, so just run yourself warm afterwards. No Fires needed since more than a Year.
If you play on a Winter Temperatured Server, than a Fire could help, if those Servers exist at the moment. Grill some Food and put it into the Patns or Jacket to warm up very quickly.
But Food Items dont cool down properly, or its buggy, thats why cold servers dont work well at the moment.
you would struggle to get warm at first, and than the mechanic would become obsolete.
Atleast thats what i heard, could be different in the meanwhile.
