Game Crash "Error: Device reset failed, error 8876086c

I can play for 3-5 minutes and then crashes the Game. Someone knows what to do?

I get the same error, playing in borderless windowed mode helps, but i still sometimes get it.

I have had the same problem, 5-10 minutes and the game exists out every single time and I get that error. I can't play in window mode.. as soon as I hit alt enter the game crashes.. I can't even alt tab to desktop without it crashing.

I am on Windows XP, 32bit, 8gb ram, AMD Phenom II X3 720, AIT Radeon HD 4890 (1gb),

I have tried a number of different graphic settings... the other pain is with some of these settings, when I change them, the game exists out and its very slow to start up again so modifying graphic options is very time consuming to see if anything stops the crashing.

If i want to modifying my ingame graphics i get the same error. I can`t play in windowed mode too.

Changing video settings in the menu also crashes my game. Seems to be WinXP related.

people i have the solution.... the game require high v memory values.. and windows xp cant handle it... so you must change the config file located in mis documents! .. change the value of vram .. in mi case i have 1 giga of vram and change the value to 900 megabites.. but the file use only the bytes unit . you can change to the nonlocalvram to the value of your ram memory in bytes ! then try play.. and tell me if works

I stopped playing as the game keeps making me motion sick, no matter how I modified the settings. Minecraft has done that from time to time, but this game does it constantly!

Can somebody please describe this to do more exactly? I don't know how to reduce my vram and the dayz.cfg has only a few lines:

I have solved this issue. I did fps boost from one of tutorials and command in start-up DayZ was making the error - "-winxp".
According to the third post, I think it's up to your operating system (win xp) which does the error.

it win xp had to change in my shelf but now im getting Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine
