I tried those files for Arma2OA because there isn't for DayzSA. It'll launch your game but after joining server it will crash and than black bar'll show up with "Updating BEservice" and than your game'll launch again but it'll happen again. So i'm gonna reinstall windows.
Sorry for my english by the way :))
1.Well you first have to have an admin user account(I had a regular account before)
2. I uninstalled steam and then installed DayZ
and thats it which solved it for me
Thanks for sharing mate! Well... I've just made a fresh install of windows (hope it works).
If my fresh install doesn't help, I`ll give it a try (as admin).
I'll post here my results.
Well i had a normall account and then i turned it into an admin account. I dont think you had to get a fresh new account
Sure, I got it. But my hopes are down now, since I have a fresh windows installation, running steam as Administrator and STILL got the same problem... So, it wasn't my windows before. I think it has something to do with file/directory permissions... But I can't handle much on windows permissions.
Just opened an issue on Bohemia Interactive session for Dayz (hope they help me) and I'm heading to Battleye support, contact them about my/our problem.
I'll let you guys know if I find any solution!
After a long research and several (frustrated) attempts on how to solve this issue, I contacted the battleye support team (support@battleye.com) and they helped me a lot!
Here's the thing you need to do (worked on windows xp):
When you try to launch the game and battleye asks you to read and accept the EULA, it will try to run battleye service installation as Administrator. Now, here's the trick: Instead of selecting the Administrator user, you must select "Current user (YOUR_USERNAME)" and uncheck the box below this option. Like the image[i1193.photobucket.com]
Anyway... Hope this post helps someone else.
Regards
I went to the game files, that is in Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ.
then I found a file called DAYZ_BE.exe.
All I did to fix it was right click it, and select "Run as administrator"
and done!
Reply if this worked for you!
