DayZ
[Solved] Failed To Launch Game
So this just happened out of nowhere. I didn't play dayz for about 3 days I tried to play it today and it comes up with this error.

I have played dayz before on the same computer, I have tried to download the C++ package on my computer on both x64 and x86 versions, I have restarted my PC.

THE FIX: Credits to filthy_beast, Dies Fourth

Okay so what I did was go in to my game directory so that's

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DayZ

And you right click on the DayZ executable ( Dayz.exe ) and select properties. Go to the compatability tab and check the ' Run as administrator ' box at the bottom.

Click the same executable and you should get an error saying ' Could not find path ' or something like that.
Windows automatically popped up asking if the program started properly.
Click ' No this program didn't start properly ' and then windows should automatically troubleshoot the issue and resolve it.
Not sure if this is only for windows 7/8 or anything like that but this worked for me after several other attempts.

Thanks

Ok the 1st image ive never seen b4, cant help there, the 2nd i see allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time.................

" ususally " i can fix it by closing steam completely, then from the desktop icon RIGHT click and run as admin.

My issue is i can eirther play stable or exp, if i try to play stable and its refuses to start i d/l the exp build, then immediatley " opt out " asn d/l the stable build, then i can play stable.

Im not making this " about me " im sudjesting if nothing seems to work d/l exp, see if it works and lets you play, it it does great. Then if exp isnt to your liking, " opt out of betas " and d/l stable and see if tht fixes anything...................... good luck : )
