I guess my problem is that i dont have any dayz related stuff in My Documents but im not sure how to get them
also have uninstalled reinstalled , deleted dayz folder in %appdata% and documents.
cheers.
As mentioned a few days ago i had problems joining despite having the same version as the server ( tried exp and stress test just to be sure and it always showed up that the server has 1.03.151507 ). A day later i could connect which looks like a mod was responsible because a few days later a mod the server was using ( Weapon Redux ) was updated while the server wasn't yet since it was midnight and the update arrived seconds ago. So we couldn't join again. I could rejoin the next day.
So from the looks of it it seems to be a client to server mod mismatch, at least in this particular case.
I hope this helps explain why we get that issue.
Servers need to update because they don't launch the application as often as players do. So at minimum every 3 hours usually 4 hours depending on what the host has set restarts to and if the provider updates servers between restarts. That's the big downside of modded servers, have an outdated or broken mod? You are effed. Mods break the game more than one way
