Display driver crashes

Aside from the usual troubles (mostly network related), DayZ ran fine, graphically.
But as of today, the game randomly crashes my display driver (nvlddmkm stopped working, had to be restarted).
I'm not entirely sure if it's DayZ or the display driver, since i downloaded the latest driver for my nvidia GTX 650 and the latest patch for DayZ today. Or maybe it's both.
Whatever the case, it's frustrating as hell, i was able to play for an hour then my display driver kept crashing and eventually my whole computer froze. Then i restarted and only after a minute of playing, my display driver crashed again (this time my system didn't froze but i had to kill DayZ via taskmanager).
Though DayZ would crash sometimes it never crashed my nvidia display driver. Anyone knows something about this or experienced the same?

Exact same error happening to me. If i have firefox running as well it crashes that too but i get the display driver crashed error message. For me the game still keeps running and i can hear the sound but i cannot alt tab into the game and have to kill it via the task manager as you did.

My build is an intel 4770k CPU not OC, Nvidia GTX 760 2gb, 8gig DDR3 memory at 2400mhz with an Asus Z87 Pro motherboard.

I tried rolling back my drivers and that did not help.

i have exactly the same problem just since today. the display driver crashes and dayz tabs to desktop.. then i have to close dayz and start it again because when i want to tab back into the game i just have black screen or just hear the sound but have no graphic.

i started getting this problem (tabbed out, nvidia stopped working, cant tab back in but still hear sounds and can shoot) with the 334. driver, rolled back to 332, worked fine, 335. got released and everything was fine (although i didnt play for more than a hour i think) downloaded dayz patch yday 23rd march and it started happening again.. i did also change 1 or 2 ingame gfx settings before playing yday. i got a feeling its that gfx setting thats bugging out or something from patch thats clashing with gfx card/settings maybe?

i5 2500k, 8gb ram and Gtx 650.
friend has 650ti boost and latest drivers and he's havin no problem.
i would also test my settings theory but i got frustrated and already roll back to 332 driver

It seems to happen randomly, some days I can go 4 hours without a crash, otherdays I'll crash within 30 seconds each time I join a server.

Yes, and it seems that the reason of the issue is the game, but when I wrote about it in the official feedback Accolyte said me that my GPU was damaged. I didn't believe him and now I see lots of guys suffering from the same problem. Shame on Bohemia...

My hardware is fine. I can play other games for hours on end without any trouble. It's definately DayZ (yet, again).
