Macbook Pro Retina Bootcamp Windows 8 Problem

So i set up windows 8 using bootcamp on my macbook pro retina display late 2013 model. I downloaded the game on steam and installed, but when i start the game, the texts and images of the startup screen are all blurry. Also the pointer doesnt move when i move the mouse. However when i click, the pointer will instead jump to the point where i clicked.

could it also be that i messed around with my drivers a bit? i was trying to fix my wireless driver problem and i remember trying to do something with the multimedia driver.
