I have this error too, actualization stops after 5gb downloading. What's going on?

I am having this issue as well.

Never installed the game before, just bought it, it gets to about 50% and then I get this error. Re-trying get it to download for another 2-5 seconds and then the error comes back. Tried deleting local contact, tried making sure running Steam as admin.

Very annoying.

After 1 hour, reinstalling steam, it went through to 100%.

I got the same error reinstalled and nothing, I flashed my steam before and nothing. No idea.

same problem tryed all the troubleshoot methods posted on the link for the error message and none of them worked

im tried deleting the dayz directory in my AppData directory and seeing if that works. Hopefully the steam servers are just busy. 0.0

same problem here. I am 50% into download, and I get the update error. Status of the game on the sidebar is download queued.

seems to be working now that i deleted the dayz AppData

Deleting the appcache didn't work for me. I also disabled all virus scanning programs. It still won't download more than a few seconds before the error message pops up again...

got the same problem .. always stopping at 50% saying an error occured. already deleted steam appcache and ran as admin, nothing worked. can some1 tell me where that appdata of dayz is? is reinstalling steam realy gonna to fix this problem? i already deinstalled and installed the game from new but it wont work -.-

ive downloaded the whole 5 gb file and it stays updated required....jeebus malone!!!
