Report a translation problem
It appears in my experience that when you jump into a Helicopter the collective is set to sea level. It seems the collective works off this reference point, at least initially.
So if you jump in a helicopter and fire it up and you are at 200 meters above sea level you have to hold the collective down until it passes 200 meters. Probably butchering this explanation but hopefully it makes sense.
Sometimes toggling auto-hover helps and to be honest it's almost a given to fly unless maybe a controller of joystick works better without but I use mouse/keyboard and it's a bit of a pain.
