Connection failure error 20009

Hi there

I have dayZ on linux mint.
Been loving it.

but yesterday I have this error on all connections to any server.
I have fully deleted and completely re-installed DayZ, sadly still the same error.
I have rebooted my router as well.

Game description.
The game interface loads fine and you select the server. you click to get into the game.
but you get a Connection failure error 20009 ..

Any suggestions.
My DayZ gaming has stopped.

Ahh well at least I can play Armour Re-forger .. for the moment.

Found a solution. downgrade Proton to the previous version.
Steam Proton broke it with the latest version.
