DayZ Launcher server lockout.

I have been having problems with DayZ's launcher losing my favorite servers information. Or putting a lock symbol on the join button. This has happened on every server I have been playing on. This also affects DZSA launcher as it cant find the servers at all. I have been using Google to help and tried many different methods but none have worked.

I have the same problem where it's locked in DAYZ launcher and won't even show up in DZSA.

Some servers, particularly Community won't show up in DZSA at all unless they run the tool from the DZSA folks. I know of a few that are that way.

This bug is annoying AF, wishful thinking that the devs fix this.

It definitely appears to be related to the Mods. I unloaded all mods, closed and all servers came back.

yeah i lost all my favorites today for some reason. had to re-favorite them all and now sometimes when I open the launcher theres duplicates of each all locked out, have to hit refresh a few times to fix it. typical dayz jank lol

Exactly this, I have found for me that when opening the launcher now I let it check to see if mods are up to date then move mouse slowly to server tab, click refresh and it has seems to be working 90% of the time. the joys of dayz :)

I can't believe this is still happening (well, after 12K hrs of Dayz I can actually believe it!), there's been no word from Bohemia regarding this. It's not an isolated bug as there's enough people suffering from it to be worth investigating.

I have 3 accounts, this bug is not tied to my IP, or, it's not a connection / internet issue. One of my accounts can have my favourite servers appear just fine, then if I log into one of my other accounts it can have this bug appear. Thing is all my 3 accounts run exactly the same mods, I can have 3 characters playing on the same server, so they all need to be up to date with all the mods they share on that particular server, also this has been happening on vanilla servers as well, so I'm not convinced about the bug being connected to mods theory.

It's been a problem from about 3 updates ago, refresh, close/open the launcher, eventually it'll work.

I think it is bugging out when you add it to the favorites list. At least that is what it is doing on my end. The server is there and open, then when I add it to my favorites logout and back in. It shows up as locked. Right now, all my favorite servers are locked. LOL And over time all the servers I have on my favorites list, will just disappear,

Rodiculous that this is such an issue yet the deva have no idea about it or how to fix it, they told me to reinstall, delete mods, flush dns, try on different connections only thijng that worked was using a different internet connection(at a mates and at mums) and it worked fine, however, back on my own internet, another server i was playing jn due tonthe local officials being locked has also now locked out, email from deva thia morning claiming it is not a dayz issue and must be my internet connection. Pathetic level of support.

Saw a reddit post by dsquaredduffy with a fix that worked for me.

"To fix it, you have to go to Steam->Settings->In-Game and change the In-Game server browser:max pings/minute to something lower than it is now. Try 1000, 500 etc until you find a setting that won't flood your router!"

I was racking my brain on this its still doing it. I've completely uninstalled it and all content from day Z and reinstalled. still the same issue currently. been 3 days straight now

Have you ever attempted a clean re-install of Windows?

My own private, single player server was locked, though I made some changes for the number of objects in the game. Is my server banned? or is it just a glitch

Try and relaunch steam completely :D it fixed my problem
