My microphone doesn't work in DayZ? What's the problem?

So my mic isn't working in DayZ. I just press CAPS LOCK, see the icon of the mic and nobody hears me. But it works fine everywhere else... Help me pls. Stucked for 5 days with this problem. Also i have Razer headset so this is using razer soundcard.

UPD: I changed the headset. Didn't work. I changed drivers - nope. I went with reinstalling the DayZ - nope. Can't figure out what the problem because in other games or skype, discord and etc - working.

My specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x
Rx 6700 xt
16 gb

Have you looked at the audio settings in Dayz for voice input, recently they added a detect voice input mode which maybe on by default and the input voice detect level might be to low. See if this has activated and disable it back to CAPS key input maybe?
Also if you press the CAPS key a few times too fast it will automatically turn on the voice input mode again.
This is just a solution which you might have already tried.

I have the same problem! I have done everything and still no one can hear me in game and it works everywhere else just like you. And I also have a razor headset. Did you find a way to fix it?

seems like its a razor issue, alt tab out of the game and right click on your sound in the bottom right corner go to recording devices disable and re enable the microphone....if that also doesnt work then select allow applications to take take exclusive priority disbale that and hit apply and see if that works....obviously if it doesnt work change back what u did...i dont have a razor microphone so i dunno but also unplugging and replugging in while ingame too

I've been having the same issue and so I went into steam settings and then to voice and started the microphone test and found that steam wasn't picking up the audio from my mic. So i just kept testing with all the microphone input device options that I found until one worked. I haven't properly tested it in DayZ yet but I have a hunch it'll work. IDK if anyone else is still having this issue but if it does work I'll try to reply to my comment and say :)

Try to go Microsoft windows,go to sound settings , Sound Control Panel , uncheck all the other audio hardware you are not using, disable them.If you are using mic and headphones that are together like headset with mic you need to have them enabled both even if you dont use the mic.Lastly go and check in game what is your primary "default" for your mic input(if you have more then one;and sometimes you do even if you dont know). Set the input to specific one you use and not default.
