How to reduce ping?

I play on DE server and i constantly get kicked for high ping . its almost unplayable for long periods.Anyone know a fix? Cant find much on YT

are you playing via LAN or WLAN? many background processes running? is everyone and your cat using the internet when you try to play? what happens in your house when you get kicked for high ping? anyone watching youtube in 4k on a samsung s8? anyone including you got windows updated running?

i mean, it has to have a reason for pingspikes to get so serious that they kick you for reaching ~300ms

acording to your steam profile, you´re from BE, try NL servers and see if that makes a difference

If you're using WiFi, consider getting a CAT-6 cable and connect directly to a router. Also make sure that no downloads are being run, and it might even help to disable wifi on other devices.
And ofcourse, play on a server that is closest to your location.
