Since 1.12 Hotfix 1 players on my servers are reporting the same error. Starts with spawning into the game and having no HUD. Pressing escape crashes the game to desktop. Reconnecting then gives the Connecting Failed (0x00010001) Could not connect to the server because it is unreachable. Sometimes game just crashes again over and over.

Connect to Server, once/if initial "hud issue" occurs press escape once... DO NOT EXIT DAYZ... Now wait for 30 Seconds at the menu screen and hit play .... should re log you in!
(this is a possible work around)

same issue for me.....

alt + enter when you get the "car" UI fixes it! no need to disconnect, if you get the connecting failed wait 5 mins and try again, still don't work you have to wait for a server restart!!

Then I would start at the Beginning, Verify files and Delete the Dayz folder option when doing so, once done join a Vanilla server, does it work?

So you wait 24 hours and you cannot login to a SINGLE vanilla server? or does it login with bad UI then crash? or???

I have been having this issue for 3 days now. I have tried everything. Also not finding very many folks who are having this problem which makes it hard to troubleshoot.

if you navigate to the BE folder in the Dayz folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\BattlEye) just try the uninstall_Battleye.bat file, reboot your PC then go back and run the install_battleye.bat file

if that does not work then I would say complete uninstall and re install of the game as something has gone strangely wrong as it is only effecting a handful of users on the forums!
