DZSA you were kicked off the game 0x00040031

Ive been having a problem when trying to join ANY dzsa server for the last couple months.. no idea what is causing it, I have completely re-installed the game and all the mods associated with the server I play on. I have not seen this error message anywhere and can't find anything specifically pertaining to this error message. Anything helps, thank you. The message I get is (WARNING (0x00040031): you were kicked off the game. Login Error. Login timed out. (AuthPlayerLoginState))

Have you try and test the game whitout mods.
If its works ok, check than workshop page for error reports.

I ended up making sure Windows 10 & Nvidia drivers were updated on Monday and this appears to have resolved the issue but only for 1 two hour session on Monday. When I tried to to log in just know. Same error. I don't have this issue any other game ever &It's completely ridiculous that a game that has been around as long as DayZ still has these type of issues. Also, I playing Vanilla & am not using mods.

I finally found solution for this error You are same with me! Problem is Discord. Yes im not kidding.

When i close the Discord i can join all servers! And I thought of something and I did these steps;

I ran Discord as administrator once and tried logging into the servers again and it worked. I left the server and closed the game, I also closed the discord. This time I ran it without admin privilege and tried to login to a server again and was able to login to the server without any problems. I think something got fixed after running Discord as administrator. I will try for a while, for now I can login to the servers without any problems.

I hope this is not a temporary solution ! :)

2. Type ipconfig /release Enter

3. Type ipconfig /renew Enter

If that doesn't work.. Restart the router and reboot the system. Both help me

Hey guys!

I probably found the problem! The Problem is with the Discord! I have a Windows 7 PC and get this error code every time since the new Update. But everything works for my collegue who also did the update (but he has a windows 10 PC), so its probaly due to the PC version. So I fixed the problem by unstalling the Discord on my PC. Now eyerthing is running again and I come back to every server. (The only problem is that I now have to use Discord online, i. e. via browser) but I personally dont think thats so bad.

I have read on steam forum that the discord overlay is the problem whit games, if you reinstall discord check how it's works if discord overlay is set off whit game dayz.

Thanks for the help. In my case it appears it was caused by my VPN (bitdefender). When turned the VPN off, the issue went away.

I have the same problem but the dicord option not working the ipcomfig also. Somebody know other solutions?

I have the same issue. I did not even have discord installed when the issue came up. but I installed it anyways, tried running it as Admin did not help. I flushed DNS, ran IPCONFIG / renew and that did not help. I am not running on a VPN or wi-fi. I have a wired CAT 6 to a fiber 1G connection.
This is a crazy issue that can be solved if the Devs of DayZ would take a min to look into the issue.
