DayZ
[LAUNCH ERROR] "Error creating enfusion engine" (I NEED HELP!)
I have been trying to figure out how to launch my DayZ and get rid of this error. The error says:

"Error creating enfusion engine, some of possible errors:"

*GPU not supported
*GPU drivers not up to date
*DirectX not up to date
*other kind of error

I spent 4 hours trying to figure out what is wrong. I am currently using an AMD Radeon R9 370 2GB.

I have already updated my drives. I have already checked if my monitor is was connected to the graphics card, which it is. I have already made my R9 370 2GB graphics card as the main graphics card for my computer. I have reinstalled DayZ, deleting some of the files before deleting it.

I can launch rust and miscreated fine but DayZ keeps preventing me from launching it because of this error.

If anyone could tell me some possible ways to clear up this error that I have not already tried my self or even provide me some information or questions to know that maybe something doesn't work together with what DayZ requires, that would be a big help!

Don't know anything about your GPU, but the "Error creating enfusion" is tied to DirectX 11 compatibility. If your GPU doesn't support DirectX 11 that would be the problem, if it does it could mean you don't have DirectX up to date or there is some kind of problem with the installation.

Here's some tips on how to troubleshoot this error:

My graphics card supports DX12. I still don't know what the problem may be.

Is your rig using the GPU or the onboard video?

How can I check that?

Had this issue myself, nothing seemed to fix it including disabling everything else running, reinstalling, verifying intergrity. told my computer to stop extending to both screens and it fixed it instantly... hope that helps

I fixed this problem after trying everything. My game worked before and after fresh windows I got this error. I had windows updated, graphic card updated, directx up to date, nothing worked, even reinstaled game.

I have laptop with nVidia card. but also integrated card which for some reason was not updated.
So try this method:
-Type DEVICE MANAGER in taskbar search
-Find 'Display adapters' and expand it. Now you should see your graphic cards.
-Right click on integrated graphic card and click update drivers, and click 'search drivers online'.
Do that for both cards just in case.
-After update restart computer and try if your game works now.

I hope it helps someone because I did not found solution anywhere.
Cheers!

I had to switch my monitor to 50hz instead of 60 and it fixed it. Hope this helps.
