For many issues out there there are simple solutions that you can try to resolve some of the reoccurring issues. Some are caused by faulty downloads, some by outdated drivers. Here is a small collection of solutions to some of the recurring issues in DayZ.

Common Solutions

• Before trying any other solutions, try to verify your game files via Steam. This is a general check of all DayZ game files that should discover most of the issues caused by a faulty update download, or by manipulated/otherwise corrupt game data.
  • Go to your Steam Library and right-click on DayZ.
  • Go to Properties.
  • Open the Local Files Tab.
  • Click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files"
     
• Make sure to clear all launch parameters.
  • Go to your Steam Library and right-click on DayZ.
  • Go to Properties.
  • In the General Tab, click on "Set Launch Options"
  • Delete all entries and confirm.
     
• Reinstall the game. To avoid faulty data, the easiest solution is a clean installation of the game.

hi im having trouble joining any games this has got worse each day less and less servers now it seems I cant join any. I done reinstall multiple times used to get notice bad version server rejection my version is 103.151552 plz help I try all betas too I loved this game its got to point
that I might as well ask for a refund which I rather not do I rather like to have a fix and have enjoyable gaming again plz help

i was stupid enough to subscribe to and downloade the helicoptermod now game wont start it comes with 3 choices in an error report , abort try again or ignore , none of theese 3 choices makes a difference even deleted game and downloded new but still same faults

i cannot get into a server. i get constant kicked out when i try after 10 minutes and cannot return. i get either connection failed or time out. i have fresh installed, updated to latest version, verified files, restarted steam before launch, restarted pc before launch, tried to change servers,
none of these work. someone suggested Ping but i am getting 30 to 50ms ping in my usual server.
i checked countless forums and threads these passed few days and this appears to be happening to alot of people for years.
its quite obvious the money and new maps are number 1. the product actually working is number 2 and customers can go to hell.
il try after a few days and il get a refund and launch a dispute with the office of fair trading Australia for selling me a product that does not work.

i cant get onto any servers i keep getting kicked saying my latency is too high, i have done several internet tests and all is good, i am also using servers from my region. can anyone advise me on how to fix this please

Yeah, I can't connect to any server. I've done all the usual, but with zero success. Why isn't this being addressed?

Why is it now that since 1.14. No "vanilla food" and NO clothing at all is rezzing. What could be the cause of this? Before 1.14 when running 1.13 SAME exact mods running now as then, every thing was fine, clothing rezing food rezing it all was good. But now, only some expansion stuff rezzing. Got ammo, weapons, some foods, not much, no clothing, but yes zombies are rezing just fine. Food on zombies is there. still no clothing except what is on a zombie. ?? ??

I have the same error. For me the following helps.

1. Run cmd.

2. Type ipconfig /release Enter

3. Type ipconfig /renew Enter

If that doesn't work.. Restart the router and reboot the system. Both help me

My microphone doesn't work in DayZ? What's the problem?
So my mic isn't working in DayZ. I just press CAPS LOCK, see the icon of the mic and nobody hears me. But it works fine everywhere else... Help me pls. Stucked for 5 days with this problem. Also i have Razer headset so this is using razer soundcard.

UPD: I changed the headset. Didn't work. I changed drivers - nope. I went with reinstalling the DayZ - nope. Can't figure out what the problem because in other games or skype, discord and etc - working.

My specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x
Rx 6700 xt
16 gb

Not sure if ya got this fixed yet but if not and or anyone else needing a little help. Here is some thing I found on my problem of no mic. I found out that I had to put the mic in and on then start DayZ, then the mic worked fine. If I started DayZ before plugging in the mic, it would not work. So, just in case yours is like mine, Be sure to plug in your mic BEFORE starting DayZ, then it should work. t least it did for me. Good luck to all.

thought id come back and start playing dayz again...only to find that any server i try and join..any server...its says i need DLC whats happened...just wanted to run around cherno for a while. CAN ANYONE HELP
