If you go to task manager are there any Dayz or steam processes you can stop?
try ending all steam processes and start steam as admin.
you could also try changing thh dayz and dayz64 exes to run as admin.
so try changing steam and both dayz.exe files to run as admin. Might help, might not
and remove all startup parameters
I will keep you posted
My screen froze, and I couldn't use the cursor. I heard what almost sounded like a dial-up...
But I'm gonna try the running as admin tomorrow morning.
Thanks again for the help/support. I'm not giving up.
I've double checked in control panel to make sure it was uninstalled. Which it is, this doesn't seem to be the issue.
nah as long as you have 10% should be fine
How much ram do you have? Try pulling it out and reseating......probably wont help but its easy and its fixed things for me b4
Maybe play with your pagefile. bigger/smaller.....im running out of ideas
All of them have been erased once you told me to. I will try reseating my ram. How would I go about adjusting my pagefiles?
go to control panel in windows......then system......advanced system settings
select advanced tab and then performance.
in the advanced tab again click change next to virtual memory.
Then you can put it at a manual setting or system managed...which is probably what its on.
