My character is stuck looking in one direction?

My mouse is frozen and my character wont move in any but one direction,Its happening alot and i dont know how to fix it,Help please?

Not to sound derpy but try 2x tap alt and see if that helps you out, if often panic tap my walk toggle when fighting the infected andthe result is yeah you can guess it ;)

Okay thats beyond me man have no clue what could be the cause of that issue maybe like you say its mouse related. Hope you get it sorted out buddy :)

this has happened to me quite a few times. sometimes when im looking over my shoulder while running and then try to go back to looking foward it gets stuck. this is really frustrating because when it happens, just pushing just "w" (foward) the character will run at an angle. this makes it impossible to navigate things as simple as walking through a doorway. the only way i can get it to go away is to exit the game. if a zombie sees me im screwed! i have to hurry and find a safe place to leave game which isnt always easy when you cant walk straight.

if anyone knows a fix for this please speak up.

i have the same bug, this is not a Freelook issue.
2xAlt will not solve it - neither pressing * will.

With free look or with out it the player can not turn it's moving direction, player can only strafe left and right and move forward and backwards - the player will not turn.

If anyone knows how to solve this or even what is the reason for this happening please post here.

I suffer from this odd free look bug all the time also. Only way I can fix it is to go into options menu and back out. Then the problem is corrected. From looking at the key bind menu there does not appear to be a free look toggle but it may be there and not listed.
Oh well...


Edit.. This bug does not happen in hardcore mode. (yet)
