Cant seem to equip burlap sack?
not sure why, I can put it in hands, inventory, etc, but cant actually use it as equipment. Its damaged but not broken, am i doing something wrong?

If you're not trying to put it on your head you're going to have a bad time.

There are a number of websites that outline crafting recipes.

If you're trying to equip it on your head make sure you aren't wearing any other headgear.

If you're trying to craft the courier bag you'll need to combine with rope.

To add to that, sticks added to an empty courier bag will create an improvised backpack with more space.
