I can play the vanilla for hours with very little issue, over time the frame rate does consistently slow down (probably a memory leak they have yet to patch up). But when I have like 20 part mods installed, the game becomes very twitchy.
FYI.. :-)
2. veryfy cashe integrity
3. CC cleaner like aforwordmentioned
4. May be memory leak?
To fix it:
1. Switch to each and every one of your vessel and turn off their Sentinel pod (turn off their object tracking).
2. Use maximum time warp until the count of objects goes to less than 10, this will take several years of warping.
3. Exit the game all the way to the desktop. (saving and loading won't do, you have to leave the game)
4. Start the game and load your save. Switch around vessels and buildings in a matter of seconds just like you did when you first started your career!.
I hope this helps.
very old problem that has been "fixed" a few times now :P Squad really can't do anything about it except build their own engine for KSP2 instead of using unity.
I know you are trying to be helpful and I suspect some people may eventually run in to the same issue as you but this thread....was created before asteroids and the sentinel camera were in the game.
