"CKAN releases are built in clean-room conditions and do not contain viruses. If your virus scanner reports a problem, it's a false positive. Please report it to the company that produces your virus scanner, not us, since it's their software that's not working properly."

if you're gonna download some softwares and are worried they might have malware, you could potentially try learning to use virtual machines.

CKAN itself should be clean. There's no guarantee the repos it's downloading mods from haven't been infected though...

Did the alert come up when you tried to download a mod, or just when you ran it?

If it was when you tried to download a mod, do you know which mod/version it was?

It is most likely just a false positive, but ransomware can be a real pain in the ass if you don't have backups.

nah but now if i think about it, i think it might be 2nd and 3rd box check for spectra mod infected something with light if i remember correctly
