cant get my throttle working

i cant get my throttle working again, encountered this problem before, anyone know how to fix it?

Can you post a screenshot of the craft on the launch pad.
Make sure fuel tab in the upper right is out.
Also right click the engine so we can see if you capped your thrust.

And of course... make sure your type of fuel matches your engine.

it only works if i use independent throttle.

I have no idea what you mean by that.

Do you mean you have to throttle it up manually rather than it being at max by default?
If so check game settings at start up.

i have throttle percentage at launch 20%. what i mean is the independent throttle mode that comes with turning advanced tweakables on.

i have throttle percentage at launch 20%. what i mean is the independent throttle mode that comes with turning advanced tweakables on.

I don't use advanced tweakables so I have no idea how that may mess things up for throttle.

I do use advanced tweakables, and I still have no idea what he's on about...

I'm just going to suggest a clean install and removal of mods.

Seems like you have stuff going on in game no one understands from your description.
You don't seem to want to upload any screenshots to verify any issues you may be having or even identify what may be going on.

Uninstall any mod managers
Uninstall game
manually go to the Kerbal Space Program folder under steamapps- common to completely remove/delete the whole folder so any corrupted or mod files get deleted
Reinstall "clean" version of game
check operation of game before adding in any mods or old saves.

Opt out of any beta to have the current version.

I would also suggest you not use any mods until you understand the game and how it works.

Using mods will just make issues more complicated to help you with if you don't understand what is a mod issue and what isn't.

Remember modding is done at your own risk.

it goes like this* uninstall all mods and data by yourself* uninstall ksp *reinstall
