Two slightly different ways you can do it there.
First, you will need to be logged into Steam.
Second, you will still need to bring up your browser and enter the URL: steam://nav/console
Third, the format the command line uses is:
- AppID is 220200 for Kerbal Space Program;
- DepotID is 220204 for Win64 platform (220201 = PC, 220202 = OSX, and 220203 = Linux);
- ManifestID 4879731577466528628, for version 1.3.1 specifically for the Win64 platform.
So it should look like this:Each DepotID will have a completely different ManifestID for the same version number. So if you are not looking to download KSP version 1.3.1. specifically for Win64, do not use the values I presented.
If, for example, you wanted to download Kerbal Space Program for the PC (32-bit) for version 1.3.1 the command line would look like this:
After the download has been completed you will see the following Console message:
You should not have to make any additional changes because the name of the executable has not been changed since version 1.3.1.
