Finding the Shrine in Mouldering Fields

Okay I'm not having much luck co-ordinating finding things.

I can see there is a shine on the map near here and I've walked, and walked and walked and I'll be damned if I can find this.

Is it me or is the map in this game really quite awkward? Where is this shrine is it above ground? How do I get there?
