[spoilers] Barrowholm
is it a good idea to befriend them? I mean - in terms of profits. I've sided with outcast in past and dont regret it (coz she sells a lot of good stuff). But this village (they are cannibals, right?) looks weird to decide by my own :S

Yeah they sell good gear and you can fight an end game boss if you gain more rep for them

in normal be enemy first(for taking "The Ravager" note which only can be found in den of wendigo if you love lore), then in elite be friend.

It depends on your build. It sure pays off to have at least one char friendly for the recepies. Me, if I don't need the augments I kill them for being filthy cannibals.

Their gear and augments are very vitality/bleed specific. If your build doesn't need their stuff they are better off being enemies as you get access to another dungeon for going hostile on them
I always befriend them for the awesome augment that gives 3% Health and 8% Constitution. Worth it for that alone.

Does the bonus dungeon have any unique drops? anything good for a cold spellbreaker?

If you wanna take on the Ravager you have to ally with them. Be warned he's a pain in the ass.

Also, it's required to befriend them if you want the Revered with 9 factions achievement.

Devil's Crossing, Rovers, Homestead, Legion, Outcast, Kymon/Vigil, Coven, Barrowholm, and Malmouth

There's also really no negative to befriending them aside from RP purposes.

Everyone should fight the Barrowholm Nemesis at least once though.

(Not recommended for hardcore without preparation.)

Befriend them on normal - reach revered status, buy x999 +4%DA augments - go hostile on ultimate and hunt their nemesis. That's how i do it :hana2:

Sadly, I had befriended them with my main character, I really really really would like to kill them all. :steamfacepalm:
