Items with pet bonuses are barely dropping

I have turned on a loot filter, to really notice items that have this suffix and I haven't picked up an item since hours. It really harshes my buzz. You guys need to look into that.

Sure you haven't inadvertently switched something off in there? Bear in mind the filter takes precedence from left to right so left column first, next one second, etc. If you've turned off everything in the first column except for show all Uniques for example it's not going to show you items with pet bonuses unless they're Uniques as well.

Yeah, I am sure. And they haven't been dropping when I didn't set any filter either.
I am starved for gear. I was wearing level 20 items until a few minutes ago, when I decided to not use pet bonuses, just so I can progress at all.

Unlucky RNG! They drop for me, so it's most likely not a bug in the loot system.

Yeah, well when you need them to play the class you want, it sucks. The game needs to make sure that progress can happen.

You need make a class that has nothing to do with pets then farm with that. You gets all the pet gear

try farm Karroz, Sigil of Ch'thon, he drop a ring that give bonus pet damage.

There is always a way to try and craft items in ultimate.
With FG you can craft a single item from a set and then morph it into other items of the same set.
There is also a tarde forum in steam where you can trade it for resources, for example.

But RNG is generally very RNG you can farm for an item for quite some time not getting it and then suddenly get 2 in a row.

We are not talking one specific item here though. We are speaking about all equipment and I am still on normal veteran. I don't even dare to go higher, with the mix of level 20-50 items I have right now. Besides, still playing AoM and have FG still to go. But my pets die all the time, due to missing resistances etc.

use wendigo totem to healing pet. else keep re-summon it, because most of the pet build through same problem as you. :/

Simply RNGesus doesn't like you today. I'm leveling up currently my conjurer and have 0 problems with "bonus to all pets" items.
Even Rashalga on ultimate has died easily from second attempt, although i still use half blue/green clothes.

Yarp ~ this is the BEST advice.
Just play a couple of ~other~ classes, collect gear, sell the garbage. And presto , soon enough you will have non crafted gear for your Pet-Build.

It's not a mandatory to play non pet class first.
I have played as a pets conjurer from the beginning and had no problem at all.

It is..if you want loot for pets.

I don't play a petbuild, but it is probably the same "rule" as my BM and loot.
Lots of stuff which I guess is for some kind of mages/pets or whatnot, not so much for BM.

Even the nightblade stuff seems to be mostly for some other mastery pairing (iow, not soldier).

uncheck "magic" quality. you're not going to use the yellow crap anyway. all it does is clutter the screen and increasing the chance that you overlook something useful.

gameplay becomes smoother if you only pick up greens and better.

there's also faction gear to serve as placeholder if you can't find any suitable drops. at level 59 you're in a somewhat bad spot since the level 35 stuff from DC, rovers etc. can be considered outdated at this point but you can't yet wear level 65 items from the AoM factions or the level 70 versions of the vanilla faction gear.
