What are some safe areas to farm on Hardcore?

I can't risk Bastion of Chaos and such because Spectral Miasma is extremely dangerous if not overcapped.

Bugs outside Homestead. The little eggs that take one hit and dont do anything give exp just like other mobs.

There is no safe areaq in HC ;D

Act 1 is still quite safe, full of slow enemies
For some reasons, i really like Necropolis too
Bee hives
The derma queen
Undercity, steps of torment
Many more...

Those are not hard and packed with enemies...but death can still come from nowhere

Anyway, i dont farm a place over and over, im more about emptying an area and moving to another according to my mood

Depends on the character too
Tanky ones can go wherever they want with little risk
Squishies really hate convoluted maps and locked rooms

Well, i'm looking for high density zones that don't have rare monsters capable of extreme physical damage or crazy debuffs (such as -Arcane). There's a rare wizard on Plains of Strife that can instant kill you at any time.

Furthermore, need to avoid getting too close to nemesisisis

Farm for what, xp's or items?

Zaria runs give you a dynamite and treasure trove chest plus lots of potential MI drops to sell. I do some of those if I need some iron bits and the treasure trove every run is bonus.

Rotting Croplands is good. Lots of heroic enemies and if you can do it safely, Gollus ring MI's can be farmed during the run.

I suppose the wasps are still decent in A2.

I like Steps of Torment, I feel it's pretty safe for you by now... of course need to complete it.

Items. XP comes naturally just hitting the dump level 85 skeletons outside Devil's Crossing


edit: Steps of Torment is pretty safe except for the Executioner. His Blink-attack (despite being half cold half physical) can do a ton of damage if it hits a low armour split.

Yeah that is why I left out SoT. Good place to farm, but kind of pointless if the end boss stabs your face off.

If you have FG don't forget to use the new set transmute option. It is expensive, but you can brute-force your way to a complete set provided you have something to transmute.

Ya, that works really well with the craftable headpieces most sets have

just go to malmouth use 2 aether soul, max your resistance will be fine. same as chaos bastion but use 2 black tallow in there.

i don't know why people had trouble with a place that reduce a health since we had instant movement rune :/ but cthonian and aethrial wont be a problem if you use the component i told you it reduce thier income damage and it stack.

When people say Bastion of Chaos, do they mean all of Entropy, or just the outdoor loop?

Aside: My NEW character I'm farming with can easily tank Cthonics, but my damage is low so farming is very slow

i'm just looking for generic purples since, well, when running a pet build... I've cleared ultimate hardcore and I'm still wearing level 30 blues because nothing better has dropped, but I haven't been walled either.

Alternatively, Celestial Lotus' for converting pieces and praying.

generally all of act 1 cause enemies are very slow so you can kite away and heal up if you are taking too much dps, also enemies dont have insane resist downs which get you killed later on if you dont use resist potions which cost mats to make or overcap resists. Also act1 can drop the best possible purples in game, the only reasons to farm other areas is you need mis.

Also the aetherial nemesis might pop in act 1 and hes a joke if your thunder res is good and overcapped. Easy to kill and loot his chest for purples.

croney is also safe if your aether res is very high and overcapped. Most of the enemies there dont put up a fight, though you might have to start worrying when the nemesis for croney starts to spawn

I adjusted by points out of safety for more offence - works better against trash, but not quite as good against higher bosses (about the same against medium-high bosses)

Can trash even drop? I mean, it's not like intentionally farming trash is a good idea, I just don't know if it's worth it to throw a contagion around a corner or just keep walking
