Stuff like Arcane Currents or the Nightblade's spinning blades of death pet-ish things simply don't engage - so you don't feel like you're seeing your full damage.
Yes it would be really helpful especially when you are min-maxing between different pieces and weapons.I have nearly 500% of damage that won't show in the dps because i have to get hit to trigger it all.
you can use the pet attack command to force blade spirits to attack the dummies
Umm, if you make barrowholm your enemy you can just stand under the Wendigo ward.
Or you can go to Janaxia's dungeon (somewhere in Ugdenbog) and stand under one of her wards.
Or Larria's den can also work since it has wards too.
They just do physical damage to (iirc) and cannot be attacked/targeted.
Considering that many "taking damage"-skills / -gear does buff your attacks, it would help quite a bit in comparing before / after when you try out build modifications.
This BTW is a reason why I would prefer to have these damage-taken-dummies in a hub where there's a soulguide.
Also, while we're at it, I'd love to get some dummies with damage reflect - to calibrate / assess leechtank builds during the min-max fine tuning.
Wouldn't that be a 2-in-1 way to achieve this?
Yes i agree retal builds would really benefit from having one.
