Fighting already defeated bosses?
Is this intentional or a bug?

What "boss" would that be? Keep in mind there is a difference between a boss and a hero and I can't envision any circumstance that would lead to a boss being defeated by random trash.

In the right situation I can see it happening to hero mobs tho.

If you mean you can fight bosses again then yes its intentional its sort of a staple part of the genre of ARPGs

Well if you've ended a game after defeating a boss and then create a new game, everything in the game world returns, including all bosses and is intended to be this way as you can farm bosses for items specific to them (monster infrequents or MI's for short) and the obvious other loot they can drop (and not all bosses drop MI's).

But if you're saying you killed a boss and then returned to that same area in the same game later on and that boss was there again, then that would certainly be odd and something I've never seen happen, yet.

Hah. After reading your guys posts I had to go back and reread the OP. Yeah maybe that's what he was talking about :) For some reason I read it as meaning that something got killed offscreen.

I killed the warden Krieg and went back to his lab to pick up loot and he was there again. Also, I have killed Farros twice.

Wait, did you restart the game session before going back? Or was the Warden Krieg alive again in the same game session?

Every time you exit a game session and start a new one, the entire world is repopulated. Including bosses. It is a staple of arpg's since loot is RNG-based and encourages multiple playthroughs. Of course it is optional to kill a boss again, the game just gives the option to do so if you want to.

Yes I believe I did quit the game and restarted. Cool thanks I will remember that! I thought only minions repopulate, not the more important characters.

There are very very few "big" bosses, which do not how up after being killed. Very few tho.

Also, anything you leave on the ground after you exit the game and restart.. will not be there when you go back. You best pickup anything left behind during that game session before you exit. Prioritze Greens and Blues (and later on Purples). Yellows and Whites.. meh. Not so important unless you really need an upgrade you intend to use immediately or in the near future.

There are none, well there is 1 minor character you can only kill once in AOM but to the best of my knowledge thats it.

Erm - Warden Krieg is one of those bosses that you appear to have killed and then like an annoying child in the playground says "nah I'm not actually dead I'm gonna get back up and fight you again".

Ilgor the Eternal also spring to mind .. Karroz is another .. and Theodin Marcell gets back up three times - presumably he was miming being dead .. or being trapped in a glass box .. or trying to walk forward in strong wind whilst holding an open umbrella.

Ive killed everyone in the game with one character or another... Theres the one in AOM which is part of a quest chain and rather irrelevant. Theres also John Bourbon who might be (??) but i honestly cant remember if he respawns or not i only bothered doing it once it was a fun secret quest but not one id ever repeat with the same character tbh
