Basically what I am typing here is, if mod makes his "modification" then he/she should keep it updated. It's not devs fault that it's not working anymore.

More on topic, I am sorry I can't help more. I don't use S'n'G, and if I did, I'm on the GOG version anyhow.

Though even the old one from 2017 works just fine when you actually install it into the right folder. No issues at all.
