Ladders? Seasons?

hey. one, one thing i miss in grim dawn... thats are ladders, seasons or something to geht challenge like poe or diablo 3.

any plans? :(

Some people delete their characters and items when knew content comes out. I'm not one of those people, I'm a purebread hoarder with mules on top of mules, and every single item is my precious. But yeah, it's possible to sort of reset, like a ladder/ season would do, but there's no competitive aspect in it.

everybody knows d2 was the best ;) its about the challenge, selffound ladder, transmog rewards or anything else..

So go play that or one of the games you mentioned. Not every game in this genre has to have forced resets.

Yeah I wish there was something like that in this game, because this game is really good, that's the only thing that would be holding this game back from the competition, is that there isn't any competitiveness within this game.

You can start a ladder any time you please with anyone you can convince to join and think will play it honest.

The rest of the population can go on playing as they wish without unnecessary interference, being split from other users, forced to play online, etc.

Also, everyone at the top of those ladders (for any game) is either:

1. paid to play games for a living - in which case you will never beat them
2. Part of a team playing the same account - in which case you will never beat them

Thus ladders are pointless.
