PS4 Controller/Mac Help

I have the Mac version of Don't Stave (and Reign of Giants). I was hoping to use my PS4 controller for Don't Stave because I prefer having a controller in my hands than mouse and keyboard.

I have my controller connected to my computer via bluetooth, but when I go into the game it won't let me switch from Mouse and Keyboard controls (assuming it is suppose to be just as easy as going to controls and clicking the mouse/keyboard option to change).

Just curious if anyone could help me with this.

I found trying to connect a PS3 controlled to my pc is the most frustrating thing ever. So I'm not much help to you. Just wondering however, do you or can you acquire a wired XBOX 360 controller? It's by far the most compatible controller for most popular games. I've never had any issues since using one back in 2011.

I have the same problems. DS4 will work with dont starve if you plug it via micro usb cable (with which you charge it). But Im desperade to find out how to make the game see the controller when plugged via bluetooth

DS4 is much more ergonomical and sassy contorller right now.This generation It takes the possition of xbox controller in x360 vs ps3 controllers fight. Plus Don't Starve is on PS4 and those who played it there may wont play the game similar way
