Lightning Rods...

Okay, so I know that lightning rods attract and absorb lightning in storms to themselves, and when struck produce light, but do they do, or rather can I make them do something else? After all Wilson says something like "The power is mine" after examining them...

As far as I know it does nothing really then absorb lighting. There has been talk around that the useage of the lighting rob will be expanded in feature updates.

"The power is mine" is proberly a comical wink to a 'famous' referance from a book, movie or other game, although I don't know which. Dont 'Starve is full of them.

Yeah, all it does at the moment is attract lightning and prevent it from setting things on fire in the near-by area, heres hoping they add other uses like an electric fence or somehow bringing back the dead(frankenstin style).

I think "The power is mine" is a double reference, it's the name of a song and he says it literally, because power is a measure in electricity (Watts), the power is his, he has the electricity.
