also use the monster meat on a bird cage to get eggs

It's a short walk from base, they are against the edge of land so can't go anywhere, if nest turns to queen theres tons of traps to take her out.
Very original :)

Doing it this way, you can lure out 2-3 spiders at a time, kill them in the traps, harvest/reset the traps and repeat until there are no spiders left it in. And then do that again the next day and the next until you hit a level 3 den, and then smash it and replant it.
destroy a nest when it gets 3 lairs of eggs
you will get a egg and can put it anywere but do it as soon as it gets 3 eggs if you wait to long you will get a spider queen
Yeah, I think a nest needs to be level 3 for a number of days before it can even have a chance of becoming a queen, so as soon as it hits level 3 just clear out the spiders then kill the nest and replant it.
First find a tier 3 spider den. Basically its 3 layers of spider sacks. Destroy it and claim silk and your first spider egg. Now go and place it closer to a pig village. Every day check on the spider den. There should be silk lying around after a pig vs spider battle. Keep doing this until it becomes a tier 3 den again. Then repeat the first part as I explained. You can also clear out the den everytime you collect silk left lying around. Just touch the spider web flooring and a few spider will come out. They are easy to kill and will net you monster meat/glands/silk. So no traps, just you bieng organised and planning your days carefully. Simple :)
First, obtain 1+ spider egg(s), and place it a walkable distance from your base. Then, locate and harvest 1+ Meaty Bulb(s) (You should eventually see one spring up next to your campfire, as Lureplants spawn most often in areas the player spends alot of time in.). Once you've got them, plant them just outside the webbing of your eggs so the eyeplants will grow om top of the webbing. Leave and go do whatever you like to do for a in-game week or two, them return to the site. Now, hit the eyeplants with any weapon as they are defeated in one hit, and make your way to the Bulb, destroy the bulb, and it should contain lots of silk, and probaby a few morsels from birds and rabbits that came near. once you've done this, you can replant the bulb and repeat!
If you don't have access to Meaty bulbs yet, you can just do the same thing but instead, once you've planted the spider eggs, wait until it's reached tier 3. At that point, grab all your pig friends and attack the Egg itself while the pigs distract the spiders. Collect the silk from the egg and the silk from the battle, and then replant the egg and repeat!
Hope this helped!
I didnt mention this coz I'm actually in the middle of testing it. You say 1 week ingame later all the silk and auch will still be in the plant? So only meat gets digested? How long does it take for meat to digest?
Hmm, well I can't determine how long ago the meat was consumed, but yes, it stayed in. Although the one problem I've encountered is that the amount of silk is very inconsistent, as eyeplants kinda suck at fighting spiders, but can gang up on spiders. Back to meats, I'm not sure as the meats I collected had been recently eaten, but I've been told food spoils normaly inside lureplants.
Got a pic to show us please. Thanks.
