dragon pie is unbalance

If I have a dragon fruit and bird cage I don't need other vegetable and fruit
dragon pie is very useful and easy to make. so I make only dragon pie It is very boring

you have a 5% chance to grow
for it to be effective you need a bird cage (whitch i didnt get till day 124)
and you need around 4 farms and alot of seeds along with a icebox so the seeds and fruit dont spoil
i dont see it as unbalanced

True. But once you have everything sorted such as 4+ farm plots, bird cage, ice boxes and a bunch of dragon fruit seeds, plus you know what you are doing, you can make so so so many of them. Im not saying its op. Regardless we have honey ham, meat balls, fish sticks all of which are very good. So you could say all the foods that give you good hunger + health boosts are op. I think the OP has found a good food source and feels reluctant to make anything else. Its true dragon pie is one of the best sources of food in the game but its not op by any means.
