Help!!!!
I keep dying after about 3-5 days.
Is it my strategie or what?
I need advice

Starving? Running out of wood to keep the fire up? Get killed by the first hounds that appear?

I keep getting killed by spiders and I starve alot.

If you don't have a spear and a logsuit -> don't attack the spider lairs. Spiders come out at night, so don't build your camp near them.
Get that logsuit and spear as soon as you have the time, the hounds will come after a few days.

Pick enough food during the first day to survive a the night and maybe the next day - carrots and berrys and only kill those poor rabbits if you have to: if you attack them from the direction in which they'll run to get to their hole, you usually kill them.
Every few days you can check the berry bushes for berries. Don't dig the bush unless you have manure, without it, the berries won't regrow.
For long term survival: Get an icebox and find those beefaloos. It gets much easier if you can build a camp near beefaloos.

If you have too much difficulties and want to have it easy - generate new worlds and run around them until you find one with beefaloos nearby, then you can live from berries for a while. That might be a bit of cheating, but at least then you can survive longer and have the time to learn a bit more about the game.

Before winter, set up a camp near many bunny holes... set several bunny traps if you can, but leave the filled traps until winter. Killing 4 bunnies and cooking the 4 morsels in a crock pot gives you a good stew, filling your stomach nicely.

Be carful with killing to many bunnys, there are creatures that don't like it if you kill innocent creatures..

Well if you Starve alot then find lots of berries and carrots, And if you die from Spiders then build your camp away from them or don't even attack them.If you need help killing hounds just camp near Beefalows.

Oh, one more thing in terms of "use monsters against eachother" if there is a swamp nearby and you get attacked by spiders and can't kill them - run to the swamp so the tentacle-monster can kill them. But: Don't stand anywhere where there's a tentacle spot nearby, just run - because that one will definitly kill you. You'll notice the tentacle spots because the tentacle will only come up a bit to be visible before it attacks.

Cool thanks I've survived more than usual but I died becuase of tall bird. My trouble is also I can't find any gold. to make an alchelymy enginue

If you don't get gold out of boulders you're unlucky. Just break down more of them or explore a bit more if possible. Sometimes there are areas with many boulders (on ground that can't be dug up) where gold nuggets just lie around. There also tend to be spider dens as far as I know it, so don't stay there at dawn.

As far as it goes: If you aren't certain you will survive attacking something or can outrun it if need be, don't attack it :D You can always do it later when you have an amulet to save you.

Thats your sanity. You want to keep that quite full, at half it starts to get annoying without being dangerous because you get hallucinations and the screen gets blurry.
It's not so easy to get it back up if it's really low, but if you don't do dangerous things and don't run around too long in near darkness, it doesn't seem to be a big problem. (Or at least it wasn't for me up to this points. I only got it down so much due to dying and being resurrected with the meat effigy)

Try and get the Tam 'O Shanter. It might be hard to kill MacTusk (and there's 25% chance he will drop it), but luring him to horny beefalo's while wearing a Beefalo Hat for protection (disguise) will kill him for sure. This Scottish looking hat will restore your sanity, even in dusk. A Puffy Vest and Top Hat combined will only break-even your sanity during dusk, meaning it won't go up or down. Therefore the Tam 'O Shanter might be the most important item of the game if you ask me.

Easiest way i've found to restore sanity is pick flowers. Picking flowers restores it quite quickly in itself, but when you have picked 12 you can craft them into a flower hat (Garland). When you wear the garland during the day it raises your sanity constantly. As this is really easy to craft with all the flowers about, and you don't need a science machine or anything special/dangerous, i'd say its defo the method of choice to maintain sanity early on imho.

Downside, you look like a flowery jesus when the beard kicks in.
