How to make Honey Ham
I dont understand how recipes work in the wiki, it doesnt make sense. It says 1 honey and 2 meat. So what is the forth then? I put in one honey and 3 meat and got honey nuggets. If i put in 1 honey and 2 meat then put in corn i still get honey nuggets. Only time i get Honey ham is when I put in 1 honey, 2 meat and 1 monster meat. Anyone know recipes that actually work?

Edit: I finally get it. Use this table to see the meatiness value of each meat

http://dont-starve-game.wikia.com/wiki/Meats

Basically to get gauranteed honey ham. I read the wiki there is 100% gaurantee, randomness only comes into play when same ingredients make different food, have a read. So to make honey ham you need a meatiness value of >1.5

1 honey, 2 meat and 1 monster meat
Thats how you make it whats the problem?

The question mark just means anything. Doesn't matter what you put there. I usually use berries, or carrots for those.

There is still a bit of randomness to it as well. Sometimes you will get the honey nuggets even with 2 meat. I think using Monster Meat may make it lean more towards that, but it may just be random.

I only get Honey Ham about 1/4 of the time actually. Most of the time I jut use 2 honey and 2 meat since I have so much honey. When I use real meat and a morsel I get it a lot more often.

Can you please list the names of the igredients that will 100% get you honey ham please. Thanks

There is no 100% chance to get a recipe. Like i said it still has randomness. Honey Ham and Honey Nuggets can both be made. Sometimes you can even get Monster Lasagna

I don't know why. I assume it probably has something to do with what the freshest ingredients are.

To get Honeyed Ham, you put 2 meats, 1 honey, and one of anything other than what was already required, and what it says can't be used.
For example,
2 Uncooked Morsels, 1 Honey, and 1 Berry will get you Honeyed Ham.
3 Uncooked Morsels and 1 Honey will get you Honey Nuggets.

Also, I don't know what that person ment by "real meat", Morsels, Monster meat, everything works just fine unless it says it doesn't.

I tried 2 morsels, 1 honey and 1 berry it got me honey nuggets. I had a good read of the wiki and I think its all based on numbers. Each meat apparently has a number. As far as I can see the best possible way to make honey ham is..

1 honey + 1 morsel + 1 monster meat + 1 berry (yet to try this)
1 honey + 1 fish + 1 monster meat + 1 berry (yet to try this)
1 honey + 1 monster meat + 2 frog legs (yet to try this)
1 honey + 2 morsel + 1 monster meat (defo works)

Can some please try the ones that are yet to try and post back please. I'm not at my computer atm. Thanks

The total meatiness is the sum of individual item meatiness. So, for example, Cooked Meat
 makes 1, Meat
+Drumstick
 make 1.5, and Morsel
+Morsel
+Morsel
make 1.5. This means Honey Ham
(which requires >1.5 meatiness) can be cooked with 2×Meat
(=2) or 1×Meat
 and 2×Drumstick
(=2.0), but not, for example, with 1×Meat
 (=1) or 3×Drumstick
 (=1.5).

Its all on the wiki. search crock pot then scroll down to mechanics.

Real meat is just "meat". It's what pigs, Beefalo, etc. drop. It's just called MEAT. It's what you need to turn into cooked meat to make the Effigy.
