I can't find the clockwork knights to get gears : Please help!

I have searched on countless worlds for the clockwork knights so I can get an ice box but I can never seem to find them. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick for finding them? Any comments appreciated, thankyou.

How do i go into adventure mode?

wait, forget what i said. just go dig up some graves. you don't want to go into adventure mode...there's no use for an icebox there

Thanks ill do that but how do you guys find the knights anyway?

knights are only in adventure mode apparently. If you ever want marble armor i think you'll have to start adventure mode

you can finde them in survival usualy with evil flowers near them and marble pillers

Knights are found in a chess biome. The chess biome spawns around the wooden thing in a world. Knights also do not respawn, so gears are non-renewable.

No, they're in survival mode near the wooden thing. Finding it is partially luck.
