Is this game really worth it?
Been looking at it for a while now and wondering if it offers something different to play?

IT is a amazing game and is really wirth the money I would personally pay more for it, but the extra copy you can get at the moment makes it even more worth it seeing as you can sell that for more games. (I sold mine for Trine and Super Meat Boy! ^^)

I think that game really worth the money. This game is amazing, and I'm very happy that bought it!

buy it immediately, its a great game and he offers amazing patches/content every two weeks. Just about all that terraria dev's did during their 'free updates for a long time' every two weeks

I think its a really good game.
There is no game quite like it. Its a "rouge like" game that might put some people of but for me its rewarding to play and it keeps you on the edge trying to survive whatever the world throws at you.

Just get it.

Actually, it's really not that "complex" if you've played similar survival games on WC3 or Minecraft. Some things catch you by surprise, but they are all stuff that you learn "once". Likewise, (though I personally consider it cheating) the game has a pretty darn good wiki so those who like to be savvy about every game they play before they even play it will be happy.

Ultimately I think the game is amazing. It's a great time killer, it's fun, it's addictive, and I personally think it has a lot of potential for future updates and development. I certainly hope the intend on supporting the game and though I DESPISE the new dlc era I'd be willing to buy some for this game.

Like everyone likes to say, you can spend $5 dollars on a meal you'll enjoy for an hour tops, $12 for an hour and a half movie, and these days AAA titles charge you $50 for a 6 game with a sloppy multiplayer. When I was growing up games like Perfect Dark gave you an amazing single player with many options, Co-Op, and a fantastic multiplayer TOGETHER, not one or the other. So really, indie games like this are the sweet spot, the only downside being they tend to be short or "simple". In this case, there's a huge amount of replay value (game is built around replay value), so I don't think you can go wrong picking it up.

It's $10 bucks now and you get two copies; that's literally a steal. There are definitely a lot worse games you could "waste" your hard earned cash on.
Yes, very worth it. I've only played it for 2 hours, and still don't know crap.

And, if you don't like it, you could always trade that extra copy for another game.

I'm not sure why they sell this as a compulsory dual pack since it has no multiplayer features what-so-ever. I think it would probably be better off selling a single copy a bit cheaper, not everyone wants to be bothered haggling on trading forums. It's an interesting game to play and discover but once you've seen what it has to offer it becomes a bit less compelling to replay.

I guess it's just to add incentive to buy the game. I like to play the game with my partner at the same time of different PCs and see how long we can survive. :3 It's a fun game to talk about, especially with friends. The extra code could also make a nice gift for someone you know.

Its a good idea with the dual pack as the game gets around to more people and seeing as this is a genuinely good game it will be recommended a lot more this way.
Also people get curious when they see there friends are playing it on steam.

If you like the genre then this game is fantastic. I paid 12 dollars for 2 copies and I would have easily paid twice that for how much I enjoy this game. I haven't played it for countless hours yet, but wow... It has been a while since i thoroughly enjoyed a beta. All I can say really... if you like the idea of if (You surely have an idea by now, OP) then I can vouch that you will not be disappoint. It is one of those games that leaves so much room for improvement no matter how much you know about it and I enjoy this aspect as much as any other.

played over 45 hours and don´t regret anything =)
£9 for 2 copies and you have to ask that question?
It's worth twice that just for one copy. It's the best game of it's kind you will ever play, and the devs are one of the best around. They update fortnightly, and each update adds a large amount of content that makes the game bigger, better and much more interesting, and much more challenging as well.
There isn't much bad to say about this game, especially when you consider its low price.
Go for it. I have over 150 hours and I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Not many games you can say that about that cost less than £10 for two copies
