"button 1" trying to get started.

I just got the game and I have searched the forums but I can work out what "button 1" is. I went through the controlls key binding menu and i didnt see it there. Im trying to change the graphics settings and to confirm the changes it askes to hit button 1. I have pressed every key on my keybord and every one on my mouse and have yet to find button 1.

I do not have a gamp pad controller connected.

This feels like there is a simple answer for this but im being too dumb to see it.

That was one fo the first things I tried to do but i did not find any "button 1" in the key bind menu to remap.

I might try a fresh install and see if Im just having some wierd glitch

i got a same problem kind of to that. the menu keeps scrolling up. even unplugged the joystick. not sure how to fix this one because i cant even get into options let alone select anything

If you go to "Options" then "Controls", cycle through the input devices and look to see if the game is currently storing any other input device. I then found "Generic Controller" and disabled it with the enable/disable button underneath. I then went into "Settings" again and found that "Apply" and "Revert Changes" were the only options and fixed the issue. Hope this helped.

Ok so the way you fix this is by going into the controls and on the left side it says "keyboard and mouse" so you switch it to generic keyboard and it'll have a setting to disable generic keyboard. that will take out button 1 and stuff..... hope htis helped

Hi, i've got the same Problem, it was the VJoy-Gamepad-Emulator in my Case.

It's really stupid. Go into the control settings and switch to what is NOT keyboard and mouse and pick to disable. You then magically have the apply/close buttons that should have not been removed in the first place, IMO.

Even more stupid is you can't, as far as I can tell since I hit every button on my Logitech Rumblepad 2 Wireless, even close the settings page WITH the controller enabled.

Can't believe there is that huge of a bug right at the start of the game... It's not even the game yet, just the options menu.

I know how to fix it! You go into settings, controls, and under 'Keyboard and Mouse' Click the right arrow and disable generic controller, go back to Keyboard and mouse! It fixes it!
