They won't come 8ack in swamps after you've killed them though, you'll have to find more. (try finding all the "things" or going underground)
I think I have to move
I understand the 8onuses of a tentacle spikes, 8ut...
there are weapons of equal value which may 8e easier to get
It's a monster world, lots of hounds and deerclops and spiders,I even met 2 deerclops in 4 days.I need tentacles to protect me.
I really like the monster, cannot move and a high damage.
Really sad to know it can not respawn
Are there any mods that cause tentacles to respawn?
Is there a console command to respawn tentacles?
My advice: tentacles are not your friend. By the time you run out of them, you should already have pigs, beefalo, bunnymen, rock lobsters or even treeguards and mermen nearby to protect you -- or at the very least, enough teeth to make a trap circle.
Find a replacement. There are many to choose from.
Against Deerclops, you should be relying on explosives rather than creatures to kill it. His AoE will smash a huge group of spiders in a single swipe.
If you need weapons, feed four monster meat to a pig and kill the resulting Werepig. Use the two meat, pigbutt and two sticks to create a hambat.
If not, drag it to a group of beefalo (if there are too many of them) to thin them a bit and get the drops from both.
Hounds are easily dealt with by Pigs. Easily. Just don't build houses too close to each other lest they burn to the red hounds.
