But Don't Starve isn't 100% accurate with a lot of things. Honey can't rot for example, but if honey doesn't rot you have infinite resources.
imagine a mushroom 8iome...
I think you should have a choice between cooking and harvesting spores. Spores would then act like pine cones and allow you to place mushrooms where you wanted. 90% of fungi spores never actually create anything so they could factor that in to make it more challenging. That way you can't surround yourself with mushrooms and just eat ratatatatatatatatatata's touille all winter.
Yeah i know a lot more about fungi habitats than I do about mods.
Honey honest to god will never rot in real life. It has nothing in it that can decompose. They found honey in ancient egypt in a pot and the only change was that the water had evaporated out of it leaving it hard. If you reconstitute it you could use it in your tea.
But if honey doesn't rot in don't starve then people would only go after honey so they had to make it decompose.
well, I 8eg to differ. Its not exactly the most filling food, and its a rather painful process to o8tain without certain 8eegear.
You can't make it appear everytime like a pine cone though. You break the game if you have access to infinite mushrooms.
Which would make sense for a spore, as don't they decompose things (or something)?
8esides, not all mods are 8alanced anyways, so...
I guess I still worry that you can just put a giant fairy ring around yourself and with a crockpot you'll never have to worry about hunger, health or sanity ever again.
