The power of meat bulb farms

hi all
some will now it others have trouble setting it up and then some will not now of its power

meatbulbs are those damn nasty plants that steal all items on the map ,, some use them for defence and others just destroy/burn them
a single plant is not a problem and its not a good source , but how about farming them :))

it is hard to do it in a short time as the plants only spawn so often some worlds faster then others,, and you need a big area
to farm them its ideal to NOT let them spawn eye's ,,they wil attack other eye's and the plant wil retreath its meat

setup is as follows

place a lightning rod and start digging up the ground around it then place wooden flooring and then place the bulbs on it ,,you can wall it in but its not needed

for not spawning eye's you will need a wooden flooring of 5 tile's in any direction of the plant

now for its power
you can farm them every 2 days for its meat,give them to the birdcage for eggs,,now 1 thing the meat on the plants wil start to spoil it takes +/-1day and then it vanisch ,,the plant wil still show its meat but one's you harvest you get nothing,,its not a big deal as 2 days later a new fresh meat will appear :))

in my setup i have 40 plants (see the clock,its world 2 and world 1 was +/-220 days to get all)
this means i have "if i want/need" 40 eggs every 2 days :))

yeah you harvest a leafy meat every 2 days from it,,i find them annoying and the only good thing they do is act as defence "wil also attack you" or you collect them and farm them :))

jeah you can use them as pickers,but you will loose a lot of stuff,,and i dont think its even working any more ,,i can test it again,,but i find it more usefull to harvets them and turn the flesh in to eggs
also i plant 40 twigs +40 grass and harvest them one's you pass a good amount of days you dont realy need that a lot of twigs and grass anny more ,but your set up looks great :))

its not my video and you lose 1 item every 20 seconds so maybe 1-2 items maximum depending on how clumsy you are at killing the lureplant. that's nothing if 1 lureplant harvests like 1,5 stacks or even more. the key is to set this kind of farm up far off screen so you see the eyeplants picking the stuff when you've properly loaded that part of the world by moving there.
