how do i raise my max hp back?

Or die a lot. You lose 30 max health per effigy, so 1 = 120 HP, 2 = 90, 3 = 60, 4 = 30, 5 = 4.

There is not boster shot in Don't Starve SINGLEPLAYER.

Everytime you craft and place a meat effigy your max health is reduced by 30 points. If you already crafted and putted too many of them, try using the hammer to destroy them or die so you can get revived and a meat effigy will be destroyed.
